About the course
One thing has changed in the last few years: you no longer need to learn programming to get the first working version of a piece of software built. You do need to know how to instruct, and how to recognise when the answer is wrong. This course teaches those two things — and it ends with a link you can send to anyone.
Syllabus

- 01
From an idea to a specification
What you are building, who for, and — the hard question — what the first version will not have. An idea that will not fit on one page is an idea no machine can build either.
- 02
Working with the AI
Writing a good instruction, breaking work into small steps, and spotting a confidently wrong answer. This week is the foundation the rest stands on.
- 03
The first page that runs
From a blank screen to a page that works — text, images, buttons, and behaving properly on a phone.
- 04
Where the data goes
Where what a user types actually lives, how you get it back, and what a database really is — without learning SQL.
- 05
Sign-in and payment
Plugging in services instead of building them. Knowing what you must never build yourself is a skill of its own.
- 06
Putting it on the internet
A domain, hosting, and opening your own thing at your own address for the first time. Most people stop here, which is why it gets a week to itself.
- 07
What can go wrong
Security, cost, personal data, and the things the AI still cannot do. The least pleasant week, and the most necessary one.

Demo
Show your MVP to the room, take the questions, and decide what happens next.
What you leave with
Your own MVP, running on the internet at your own link, ready to send to anyone.
A one-page specification a developer could read and understand what you want.
The judgement to tell apart what the AI will finish and what still needs a person.
The experience of putting the thing in a first user's hands.
Who it is for
Founders, students, NGO workers and small business owners — people with an idea and no budget for a developer.
What you need
No programming experience. A laptop, an internet connection and an idea of your own are the whole list.
What this course does not do
This course will not make you a programmer, and anything large or complex will still need a developer. What it teaches is how to get from an idea to a working version you can show, on your own.
